TREATMENT AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ACCORDING TO LEGISLATIVE DECREE. 196/03 AND REG. EU 679/2016
According to the statements included in the Legislative Decree of June 30, 2003, n.196 regarding the Personal Data Protection (hereinafter the "Code") and the EU REG 679/2016, the customer is made aware that all personal data collected by Marotec will be processed through electronic and manual procedures in compliance with the Code and the applicable legislation on privacy.
Purpose of treatment: Collected personale data are used for the following purposes: a. to set up of a personal account; b. to formalise sale contracts and carry out related services; c. to perform the steps necessary to implement the contractual agreements; d. to send commercial information, advertising messages, news and purchase proposals, by any means (email, sms, etc). The collection of personal data is necessary to finalise the purchase contract. Missing data will make it impossible to finalise the contract and to execute the order, due to the need of a complete set of personal information to formalise the sale agreement. The customer will not be subject to any automated decision-making or ordering process, including profiling, which could generate legal obligations or affect or interfere in any way with his private activities and actions.
Data recording: All acquired data can not be used for purposes other than those described above and will be kept for the period necessary to achieve them. Carried out the aforementioned purposes, the customer may request cancellation of personal data from company files.
Customer rights: The customer can at any time exercise the rights specified under Art. 7 of the Code (Right of access to personal data and other rights) and stated by art.13 of the EU REG, in particular: the right to access to his personal information, to request corrections, update, limitation, portability and cancellation, and to object to their processing for legitimate reasons according to Article 21 of the aforementioned EU Regulation, by sending a written request to Marotec sas, via G. Oberdan, 64, 70042 Mola di Bari (BA), or directly through the procedures that can be found in the specific website page. The customer has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of data at any time without affecting the lawfulness of data processing based on the previously given approval. It is as well guaranteed the customer right to formally complain with government designated authorities which deal with privacy matters or to promote legal actions if that is deemed appropriate.
